Mar Cantero Sánchez, born in Madrid, is a writer and coach. She is a columnist for the magazines Cosmopolitan, Psicología Práctica, and Piensa, es gratis (by Joaquín Lorente). She has published both romantic and comic novels such as El árbol de los pájaros alegres (The Happy Bird Tree, Finalist in the Premio Ellas), Los viernes, el paro duerme (On Fridays, the Strike Sleeps, Finalist for the Premio Ateneo Joven de Sevilla), La viajera de la felicidad (The Happiness Traveller) and El matarratas (The Rat-killer).
